Lebanon walkie-talkie explosions

In Lebanon, over 100 people were injured, and at least three were killed due to explosions caused by walkie-talkies, as the Lebanese Health Ministry reported.

The Lebanese Red Cross responded to these explosions, which took place in various areas in the south and east of the country. This happened a day after similar explosions involving pagers. Although Israel has not officially commented, many sources blame the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad for tampering with the devices. Hezbollah, which relies on walkie-talkies for communication between its leaders and fighters, has been heavily impacted. There is no clear evidence that the devices were sabotaged, but experts suggest that Israel may have acted quickly, fearing that their plan would soon be exposed.

The attack has drawn international criticism for possibly violating international laws, as many civilians were injured.
