Lin Ying-ju is from Taiwan. She lives in Finland now. She makes soap from old cooking oil. This is called upcycling.
Lin learned this skill in Taiwan before she went to Finland to study. In Finland, her classmates were very interested. They wanted to learn too. So Lin started teaching people. She started her company JooSoap Studio in 2011.
Now, famous restaurants in Finland use her soap. Lin has taught over 1,000 people in 16 years. She helps protect the Earth by turning waste oil into useful soap.
