India has new rules for tiger safaris. People cannot use mobile phones when they visit tiger parks. Why? Because tourists want to take selfies with tigers. This is very dangerous.
Sometimes many cars stop to see one tiger. The tiger feels scared and cannot move. People shout and take photos. One child fell from a car because the mother was taking a selfie. A guide had to save the child. The tiger was very close.
India has more than 3,600 wild tigers. That is 75% of all wild tigers in the world. The new rules will help protect the tigers. Conservation comes first. When we visit wild animals, we must be careful and respectful.
