Food Poisoning at Chinese Preschool

In China, many children got sick after eating food at their school. The food had something bad in it called lead. Lead is not good for people to eat.

The school cooks used paint to make the food look pretty. But the paint was not safe to eat. Now, 233 children are in the hospital. The police caught eight people who did this bad thing.

Parents are worried about their children. One dad took his son to the doctor. The boy needs medicine for ten days. The city leaders say they will work hard to make sure this doesn't happen again.
