Space Astronauts' Return Delayed

NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are experiencing an unexpected extension to their space mission. Originally planned for just a week, their stay on the International Space Station has been prolonged until late March or possibly April of next year.

The delay is due to technical issues with the Starliner spacecraft, built by Boeing, and a postponement in launching a new capsule to the ISS. Despite the extended stay, NASA assures that there is no risk to the astronauts. The space station is well-stocked with necessary supplies, including food, water, and oxygen.

While the astronauts might miss spending holidays with their families, experts believe they are likely enjoying their extended time in space. Most space station missions typically last six months, so this extension is not unusual for experienced astronauts.
