NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore spent an extended nine-month mission on the International Space Station, engaging in various activities and experiments.
Their daily routine included maintenance tasks, scientific experiments, and essential exercise to combat the effects of zero gravity. They used special machines like the Advanced Resistive Exercise Device and a treadmill to keep their bodies healthy in space.
During their stay, they experienced unique events such as voting in the US election from space and celebrating Christmas with their fellow crew members. They also conducted spacewalks to repair and upgrade equipment on the station's exterior.
Perhaps most notably, Suni and Butch had the opportunity to witness Earth from a perspective few have seen, observing multiple sunrises and sunsets each day. This experience gave them a renewed appreciation for our planet.
