Watchmakers Toledano & Chan have created an extraordinary timepiece called the B/1M. What makes it unique? The watch is crafted from a meteorite that crashed into Earth approximately one million years ago.
The meteorite, known as Muonionalusta, was first discovered in Sweden in 1906. While some watches use small amounts of meteorite in their design, the B/1M goes further. The entire case, dial, and other parts are made from this space rock.
The watch has a distinctive appearance due to the meteorite's unique patterns. It also features a gray ostrich leg strap for contrast. The designers were inspired by Brutalist architecture, giving the watch an unusual, angular shape without numbers on its face.
