Tesla Launches Robotaxis in Texas

Tesla has started a new taxi service in Austin, Texas. These special taxis are called robotaxis. They can drive themselves, but for now, there is still a person in the car to make sure everything is safe.

The robotaxis are normal Tesla cars with a small 'robotaxi' sign on the side. Only a few people were invited to try the new service. Tesla wants to compete with other companies that already have self-driving taxis in some cities.

Elon Musk, the head of Tesla, is happy about this new service. He says it took ten years of hard work to make it happen. Tesla hopes these robotaxis will make roads safer for people walking and riding bikes.
