Hot-Air Balloon Crash in Brazil

A hot-air balloon had a terrible accident in Brazil. It happened on Saturday in a place called Santa Catarina. The balloon caught fire and fell from the sky. Eight people died, and thirteen were hurt.

There were 21 people on the balloon. Some people jumped out when it was on fire. Others could not get out and died. The pilot tried to land the balloon when the fire started, but it went up again after some people jumped.

People are very sad about this accident. The police are trying to find out why it happened. The company that runs the balloon rides has stopped all trips for now.
