Taipei Zoo is opening at night this summer! Most people visit zoos during the day. But this year, the zoo will stay open until 9 p.m. on nine Saturday evenings from July 4 to August 29, 2026.
Visitors can see animals that are more active at night. The zoo will open special areas like the Penguin House and Giant Panda House. Zoo workers will give talks about animals such as otters, elephants, and leopards. Some animals sleep during the day but wake up when it gets dark.
The zoo will also show nature films and have fun activities. Visiting at night is cooler and more comfortable in summer. It is a great way to learn how animals behave differently after the sun goes down.
