SpaceX tested its huge Starship rocket on July 24, 2026. The rocket is the biggest in the world. It is 407 feet tall.
The test had good news and bad news. The top part of the rocket worked very well. It released 20 small satellites into space. Then it came down safely in the ocean. It landed upright and stayed on the water.
The bottom part did not work as planned. It fell hard into the Gulf of Mexico. Not enough engines turned back on. SpaceX is still learning how to make rockets that can be used again.
