The Strait of Hormuz is a very important waterway. Many ships use it every day. But now there is a problem.
Iran stopped ships from passing through the strait. This happened because of a war. The US and Iran made a ceasefire deal on Tuesday. The deal says ships can pass safely. But ships are still afraid to cross.
Before the war, 138 ships crossed every day. Now only eleven ships have crossed since the ceasefire. Ship owners are waiting. They want to be sure it is safe. The strait is very important for oil and other products the world needs.
