China's Massive Solar Project on the Tibetan Plateau

China has built a very large solar panel project. It is on the Tibetan Plateau, which is very high up. The project covers an area seven times bigger than Manhattan. The air is thin there, so the sunlight is very bright. This helps make more power.

There are also wind turbines nearby. These catch the wind at night. This balances the solar power made in the day. There are also dams to make power from rivers. All this clean energy goes to homes and businesses far away.
