Germans are drinking less beer now. But they like alcohol-free beer more. Beer sales in Germany are the lowest in 30 years. People bought less than 4 billion liters of beer in six months. This is 6.3% less than last year.
Some beer makers are making more alcohol-free beer. At one big brewery, one-fourth of their beer has no alcohol. They sell this beer at sports events. It's like a natural energy drink. In bars, people are more careful about drinking. They sometimes choose drinks without alcohol.
