Ancient Egyptian Sculpture to Return Home

The Netherlands is sending an old Egyptian statue back to Egypt. This statue is very old - about 3,500 years! It was found at an art fair in the Netherlands last year.

People think the statue was taken from Egypt during a time of trouble in 2011 or 2012. The Dutch government says this statue is very important to Egypt.

The statue will be given back to Egypt at the end of this year. This is happening as Egypt opens a big new museum to show its old treasures.
