In a commendable effort to address social isolation, volunteers in Highworth, Wiltshire, have established a free monthly cafe that serves as a nexus for community engagement. The Warm and Welcome Wednesday Cafe, an offshoot of the Highworth Community Larder, operates on the third Wednesday of each month, providing a welcoming space for residents to connect and socialize.

This initiative, housed in the Council Rooms on Gilberts Lane, offers more than just complimentary refreshments. From 09:30 to 11:00 BST, attendees can enjoy free drinks and cake while engaging in meaningful interactions.
