Robot Games Open in Beijing

The inaugural World Humanoid Robot Games kicked off in Beijing with an impressive opening ceremony. Over 500 humanoid robots from 16 countries have gathered to participate in various sports competitions.
During the opening event, robots showcased their abilities by dancing, playing musical instruments, and demonstrating sports skills. They performed soccer moves, boxing techniques, and even modeled fashionable clothing alongside human models. While some robots experienced minor setbacks, like falling down, many were able to recover independently.
The games will feature competitions in soccer, running, and boxing over three days. Teams from robot companies and universities are taking part, highlighting China's growing focus on developing AI-powered humanoid robots. The event has generated significant interest, with ticket prices ranging from 180 to 580 yuan.
