Legend of Zelda Movie: British Actors Cast

Nintendo has announced that two young British actors will take on the leading roles in the upcoming film adaptation of the popular video game series, The Legend of Zelda. Bo Bragason, 21, has been cast as Princess Zelda, while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, 16, will portray Link.
The movie, scheduled for release in May 2027, will be the first attempt to bring the Zelda franchise to the big screen. Director Wes Ball, known for his work on The Maze Runner, aims to create a film that is both serious and whimsical, promising a real cinematic experience for fans.
The Legend of Zelda game series, created in 1986, has sold over 150 million copies across various consoles. This film adaptation joins a recent trend of successful video game movies, following hits like The Super Mario Bros Movie and Sonic The Hedgehog.
