Elon Musk's Tesla Pay Package

Tesla has valued Elon Musk's compensation at an incredible $158 billion for 2025. However, the company also revealed that he will not receive any of this money yet.
The massive pay deal was approved by Tesla shareholders in November. But Musk can only collect it if he achieves extremely ambitious targets. These include selling 20 million vehicles, getting 10 million self-driving subscriptions, and raising Tesla's market value to $8.5 trillion.
Financial experts say Musk has a long way to go before meeting these milestones. "Elon Musk isn't actually going to pocket $158bn," said Danni Hewson from AJ Bell. "He's still got a whole bunch of targets to hit."
Musk is currently the world's richest person, with wealth estimated between $651 billion and $788 billion. He does not receive a regular salary from Tesla, but his other companies, including SpaceX, continue to grow in value.
