Beer School Proposed in Dorset

Alan Williams, the founder of Bully Brews, has submitted an application to open a unique 'beer school' near Dorchester, Dorset. The proposed educational site would be located in a small unit at Duck Farm Workshops in Bockhampton. The school aims to offer classes on the history and styles of both traditional and modern beer.

The business plan includes selling alcohol on and off the premises throughout the week. However, during class sessions, which will be limited to a maximum of eight students, the school will be closed to the general public. This ensures a focused learning environment for the participants.

Dorset Council is currently reviewing the application. Local residents have the opportunity to submit their comments or objections regarding the proposal. The council will consider these public opinions before making a final decision on the beer school's approval.
