The 2026 World Cup will start soon. Two scientists worked for eight years to make perfect grass for the games. They tested many types of grass to find the best one.
The scientists are John Sorochan and Trey Rogers. They grew grass and tested it carefully. They checked how the ball moves on the grass. They also checked if players can run well on it.
Sixteen stadiums will have these special grass fields. Some stadiums have roofs, so the grass needs special lights to grow. The scientists used LED lights to help the grass grow without sunlight. They want all players to be happy with the grass.
