A volcano erupted in Iceland. It happened near a town called Grindavik. The volcano made a big crack in the ground. It is 1.2 km long. The crack is spitting out hot, red lava.
People had to leave their homes quickly. Some people did not want to go. The volcano is close to a famous place called the Blue Lagoon. It is a spa where people go to relax. The town might be in danger if the lava comes closer. The police asked everyone to leave the dangerous area.
