The United States and Iran planned to have important talks in Switzerland. But the talks were postponed. US Vice-President JD Vance did not travel to the meeting.
The two countries signed a deal this week. The deal says the fighting should stop. But Israeli strikes in Lebanon killed 47 people. Israel said it attacked Hezbollah, a group supported by Iran.
Later on Friday, Israel and Hezbollah agreed to stop fighting. The ceasefire started at 4 PM local time. The US hopes to have the talks with Iran soon.
