Recycling Royal Ballet Shoes into Art

Rachel O'Connell is an artist who makes new things from old ballet shoes. She gets shoes from the Royal Ballet. These shoes are only used for one day of dancing.

Rachel takes the leather from the shoes. She uses a special way to make pretty colors on the leather. Then she makes jewelry like earrings from it.
