Jesse Dufton is a special climber. He cannot see, but he climbs very high rocks. He climbed a 500-foot rock called El Matador in Wyoming. This rock is very tall and difficult.
Jesse was born with an eye problem. Now he can only see some light. But he started climbing when he was two years old with his father. His wife Molly helps him climb. She talks to him through a radio and tells him where to go.
Jesse says climbing makes him feel strong. He does not want his eye problem to stop him. He and Molly have climbed over 2,000 routes together. They trust each other very much. Jesse became the first blind person to climb El Matador.
