Germany Turns to India to Address Worker Shortage

Germany has a big problem. Many old workers are stopping work. There are not enough young people to do their jobs. So Germany is asking workers from India to help.
In 2021, a man in Germany got an email from India. The email said: "We have many young people who want to work. Do you need workers?" Germany needed workers very much. Many shops could not find people to work.
Now, 200 young people from India work in German butcher shops. They learn to cut and sell meat. One young woman, Anakha, came from India in 2022. She was 21 years old. She wanted to see the world and make good money. She is happy in Germany now.
