Denmark's Social Media Ban for Young Users

Denmark wants to stop children under 15 from using social media. The prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, says these apps are bad for kids. She thinks they make children feel sad and worried.

The government will make a new rule. Parents can let their kids use social media at 13 if they say it's okay. Frederiksen says phones are good for calling home, but now they cause problems.

She says many boys don't see their friends in person because of phones. The country already stopped kids from using phones in school. Other countries like Australia are also making rules to protect children online.
