Climate Change and World Cup

The World Cup is a big soccer event. It happens in summer. But the weather is getting hotter. This makes it hard for players to play. They get very tired and thirsty.

FIFA, the group that runs soccer, is worried. They might need to change when games are played. They could move games to cooler times of day. Or they might play the World Cup in winter instead of summer.

Players and fans need to be safe. Hot weather can make people sick. FIFA wants everyone to enjoy soccer without getting hurt.
