A British man named Kenton Cool has climbed Mount Everest 19 times. This is a new record for non-Sherpa climbers. Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world.
Kenton is 51 years old and comes from England. He first climbed Everest in 2004. Since then, he has climbed it almost every year. Many other climbers are also trying to reach the top of Everest this year.
Only Nepali Sherpa guides have climbed Everest more times than Kenton. The record for most climbs is 30 times, held by a Sherpa guide named Kami Rita.
